The Modern Warfare 2 iPhone has just hit the iTunes store, it features birds-eye view images of maps, great for scoping out the best vantage points and spots, a checklist for keeping track of your unlocks and challanges, weapon information and much more!

The next update is going to include scrollable, zoomable, multiplayer maps as well.

No more zombies (confirmed by infinity ward)

Hello people,

Is this picture a real one?  This picture has been uploaded on Infinity Ward-Modern Warfare 2 Discussion Forums. And famous people of cod series discuss it and said that is a really one. The image says: While Infinity Ward wont be adding zombies into the mix and the campaign. By saying mix, did they also mean online mode?

Some people are talking of alien terrorist mode. I made a post about it. You can see it by clicking here Modern Warfare 2 Alien Terrorist Mode . Well, i think the only one that is 80% sure is No More Zobies.

Modern Warfare 2: Beta info

The Leipzig Games Convention will be going on August 17th – 19th and it was 2 years ago at the same convention that Infinity Ward released information about the Call of Duty 4 Beta. Xboxic seems to think Infinity Ward will play the same card for Modern Warfare 2.

Community Manager, Robert Bowling is confirmed to be attending this years event. The Beta is rumored to start on September 10th and end in October. The rumor also tells us that there will be a beta sign up on ModernWarfare2.com and anyone that has ordered the Prestige Edition of the game will get a Beta code automatically.

Modern Warfare 2 at a sub-HD 600p resolution

Hello readers,
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will boast a resolution of 600p, which is equivalent to 1024 x 600 pixels. For the record, the first Modern Warfare was also shown in 600p, and everyone is asking the same question, Is would be a negative point that? Wouldn’t it be fair to assume that a sequel two years later, especially in this HD-crazy generation, might use a higher resolution?
The game should run at a silky smooth 60 frames per second (like the original). And based on what we’ve seen this far of Modern Warfare 2, it should be another graphically stunning title, so maybe we don’t necessarily need something higher than 600p. Maybe it’s better to keep a slightly lower resolution and avoid the slower 30fps, some of the more visually advanced titles won’t run faster than 30.

So what do you think? Should infinity ward tried for a higher resolution that 600p? Now its the time to share with us your technical knowledege…

Modern Warfare 2 today

Hey people,

This is the first time i am writing on my own, saying my thoughts about Modern Warfare 2. Well, i can not wait until Mw2 released!

Im becoming crazy. I remember the first time i posted in my blog, it was, 22/5/09, i posted the mw2 trailer! I could not think of my own site to become a famous one! So, thank you for all your visits and comments! And keep visiting my site! Modern warfare 2 is ready to pass all the world records on video games, such as of Mario Bros did. Mw2 is going to sell up to 17 million copies in two months.

If this will become really, infinity ward and activision are ready to feel the feeling of the Great Victory on video games history of all-times. In my opinion this will become really and mw2 will become the most succesful video game ever. Cod5, a great game did not impress us, only nazi zombies was the victory of the game. And also that is getting boring now. So cod fans all over the world gather your gear and mw2 will do the best for you!

Prestige edition on TOP 10 sales chart

This weekend Modern Warfare 2: prestige edition ranked in the TOP 10 OF ALL-TIMES the on Amazon.com.

On Sunday the game ranked eighth but on Saturday  has 133% increase in sales.

Amazon.com started taking orders of Modern Warfare 2: Prestige Edition this week and it is also offering a $10 video game credit with the advanced purchase of any of the Modern Warfare 2 SKU.

For those who have not grabbed the game yet, get it from Amazon at $149.99.

Modern Warfare 2 screenshots(new)

E3: MW2 Gameplay Demo!

The E3 kicked off just a few minutes ago and we already have a first-person gameplay demo of Modern Warfare 2. It shows some player controlled ice-climbing, a gun (M4?) with a radar add-on and we see the player ride one of the snow scooters! Its just the first of many to come gameplay demo’s but I’m already sure this game is going to be the most awesome release of the year.

Three new MW2 screenshots

Three new screenshots have come out yesterday. Nothing really new but I really like the shields and laserpointers.

Watch out for more gameplay screens and trailers when the E3 starts next Monday.

New perks, MW2

As you can see in the photo there are new perks,  The first perk is known as Stopping Power.

                         1.Bomb sniffer, Call in a dog to sniff out bomps/explosives.

                         2.Modern cowboy, Dual pistols.

                         3.Dual attachments, call equip two attachments on the gun.

                         4.Speed demon, ability to sprint while prone

                         5.Climber, ability to climb trees

                         6.Slicer, ability to grap enemy from behind and slit their throat.

                         7.MG specialist, ability to dismount MG’s and place them anywhere.

                         8.Underwater trainer, ability to swim under water.

All these new perks sound cool !!!
